When I went to learn how to download library books, the teacher was waiting. We went straight to work, downloaded the app, she showed me how to get books and I have already got a book I am now reading and have added a book on reserve. The app allows one to change the type style and size and who knows what other magic awaits. I'm liking this a lot.
My 3 year old granddaughter and I attended our first storytime this past week. She was tentative at first because there were so many new faces, but she
enjoyed the program, especially the music. She loves to sing. She also loved the stay and play at the end. The downside was that it was supposed to be a 3-5 year old program, and I would say at least half of the 25 or so children appeared to be less than 2 years old. Some were screaming and crying. My granddaughter said to me, "This is a sad place". But once the program started, she liked it.
Got there a tad late; piece being played was beautiful. Next pieces were rather slow and downers, but last piece was more upbeat. My 3 kids were sitting quietly but cant say same for some others. Good crowd. Kids liked little brownie bites.
Our 2.5 and 4.5 LOVED this! The student volunteers did a good job explaining and making sure the kids had enough decorating supplies. We finished embellishing at home and made hand print inspired cards too! Big hit with with Mom and Family. Most important each kid had a unique hand print tree!
