My 3 year old granddaughter and I attended our first storytime this past week. She was tentative at first because there were so many new faces, but she
enjoyed the program, especially the music. She loves to sing. She also loved the stay and play at the end. The downside was that it was supposed to be a 3-5 year old program, and I would say at least half of the 25 or so children appeared to be less than 2 years old. Some were screaming and crying. My granddaughter said to me, "This is a sad place". But once the program started, she liked it.
Grandkids ages almost 3 & 5 loved it! Very excited to give their creations to Dad! Plenty materials to be creative and helpful interaction from staff member running the event.
Got there a tad late; piece being played was beautiful. Next pieces were rather slow and downers, but last piece was more upbeat. My 3 kids were sitting quietly but cant say same for some others. Good crowd. Kids liked little brownie bites.
Our 2.5 and 4.5 LOVED this! The student volunteers did a good job explaining and making sure the kids had enough decorating supplies. We finished embellishing at home and made hand print inspired cards too! Big hit with with Mom and Family. Most important each kid had a unique hand print tree!
Our 2.5 and 4.5 kids loved it! Especially with the success of wild grass hair growth! Still enjoying their gnomes
I took my two granddaughters, and they loved it - so much fun! Thank you!
Very good program
I do like this storytime because the songs are really energetic and interactive, the librarians are enthusiastic, and the children always seem to have a great time! My only criticism is that when the books are being read, no one can really hear the words. Either the librarians need to project their voices much better, or they could use a microphone to help everyone to hear. This would bring my rating from 'meh' to 'it was great!'.
