We are pleased to announce an exhibition of paintings from 2016-2017 by Bay Area artist David Lew. The show features the artist’s abstract work, including a 2017 double-paneled "Spring". Each work is composed of two separate canvases that are seemingly interconnected by two similar shapes that form mirror-image planes when viewed together. There is a sense of light and depth in these works with vibrant color shadings throughout the pictorial surfaces, creating an erect of instability and disorientation.
This exhibit will run 3/2-4/26 during library open hours.
